Yet another stellar teaching moment...

A conversation I had this evening with a 12 year old:

Me: I hate George Clooney. He owes me for the hour and a half I had to spend watching 'Batman and Robin'. I'm never getting that time back. Plus he only has that one expression.

He: If we're talking about one expression, what about Roger Moore? *does impression*

Me: Yeah. Well. What can you say about Roger Moore? Eyebrow. Ill-fitting safari suit. Camp as a row of tents. The end.

He: *stunned* Wow. You really know how to talk to us on our level.

Me: Sorry to tell you this, but that's just me being me. Thinking before speaking is not one of my many super powers.
