...and this is?...
One of the most fabulous things about the school I work in is that we have a school chef. Constantly on the prowl for new and exciting dishes. We were getting an awful lot of weird looking cake until I happened to mention how much I liked the cheese topped muffin things he was making. (That's an English muffin. Savoury!) Then we had nothing else but those at break time for weeks. But then you have a chef making you a breaktime snack. Who'd complain? Not me, the cheese lover...
This morning, something had gone very, very wrong. On a plate in the staffroom were strange pastey-looking shapes, topped with cheese. On closer inspection, I realised that they were cheese-topped yorkshire puddings. Ok. Bizarre! But if it's topped with melted cheese, you know I'll give it a whirl. Even I couldn't eat it. I think perhaps buttering the Yorkshire pudding was just a step too far. Even for me. As a result, I have felt quite sick for most of the day. I don't know if I can look at a yorkshire pudding in quite the same way.
